Attention was then turned to the canopy. This was marked out to
fit the building, then the under framing added from plastic strip.

The paving was scribed then glued to the base of the building and door steps added.

After making a simple jig, eight supports were soldered from
brass. The circles were cut from brass tubing. The top strip is channel section to locate on the framing.

Rainwater guttering was made from half-round brass.
After cutting to length, each piece was taped down onto a board marked
at even intervals and thin soft brass wire was pressed over and soldered to simulate support brackets.
Down pipes were made from brass rod, bent to shape and soldered below the gutters. Brackets to hold them to the walls were
also made from thin brass wire.
