The parts for the building cut to size and after window and door openings cut Left shows the interior bracing and right the assembled building The raised vented section of the roof showing bracing and test fitted in place The louvred sections being assembled and the finished section in place on the roof The corrugated roof sections ready for fitting and the part completed roof The doors are made from grooved syrene sheet cut diagonally and fitted with framing Two sections were fitted back to back to show the grooved 'planking' on both sides Hinges were made from brass split pins cut short and glued into holes drilled in the door edges The pin part of the hinges were also made from split pins with a short section of wire soldered in Strips of plastic were pinned around the base to allow the building to removed and replaced easily without disturbing ground cover scenery which will be added The roof after painting and weathering with powders At this stage I decided to add a small office/mess room, so a section was cut out of the wall and the new part assembled The window bars were drawn onto paper and the clear styrene taped over this. The bars were marked using the type of pen used to write on CD's The building was painted the same colour as the station and goods shed and as an excuse for it being so clean, the painters are still at work finishing it!
