The original Roco wheels were fitted with traction tyres which made the locomotive wobble. These have been replaced with solid nickel silver wheels and the loco. now runs very smoothly. But as this is an old Roco model, the motor is not as smooth as I would like, so a new Mashima motor has been obtained and will replace the original. As it did not have a DCC socket, I have fitted a spare one and a decoder, as all locos. will be DCC controlled.
