The body is 2mm too wide so this dimension was removed from the center, and 1mm from this to each side of
the outer cab windows.

right and below right: the parts glued together, and reinforced on the inside.
The slimmed down version shown in comparison with the unmodified half, which still needs the surgery.

The second body half was cut and reglued as the first.
Whilst this was setting I made the new bodysides, as the 362 is completely different then the E.646.
There are four porthole windows on each side panel, after marking out I drilled a 1.6mm pilot hole in each, then
made a tool to cut these out and esure they are all the same size. The tool is a sort of single tooth hole saw, it
is made from a strip of hard nickel silver, filed to a sharp point. The point was then bent at right angles and a
1.6mm hole drilled at the correct radius of the holes. An 8 BA nut was used as a spacer and the 1.6mm drill bit was
inserted in the pilot holes then the cutter scribed round which deeply scored the hole diameter. Spoke like cuts were made
with the scalpel and the centers simply pushed through with a pencil. The time to make the tool and to cut out all the holes
was about 5 minutes!
